For almost 40 years the WLAC has been a large part of our Community’s fiber. The entertainment and educational programs provided by the Warehouse has impacted literally thousands of people’s lives. Our Children’s programs have been a significant influence on the character and ambitions of many of our youth. Included in this brochure are a few testimonials by some who participated and benefited from these programs. Whether they became a Las Vegas headliner or a successful business person, a great deal of their success they contribute to the lessons they learned at the Warehouse. Our children are the real legacy of our efforts. Yearly gifting beyond the cost of your Season Tickets is a good way to support the mission of the WLAC. This will provide the Warehouse with the resources to keep and grow the current services being offered. A yearly tax deductible charitable gift to the WLAC is normally equal to the value of the donation. Each year if every member of the Warehouse gave just a little more, even $100 more, that would be a sizable amount of money. A bequest in your WILL is a sure way to make your wishes known. There are several advantages to a bequest in your WILL. It’s easy to do. Just a few sentences create your bequest. It is revocable and only good until your WILL goes into effect. It is versatile. You can name a specific item or items for donation, an amount of money, or create a memorial for a loved one. Your estate should also be entitled to an unlimited estate tax charitable deduction for gifts. As a member of the Legacy Society you and your gracious support will be recognized and remembered for generations. As a patron of the Arts and supporter of the education of our children, you will have left your mark on the continuing Legacy of the Warehouse. |

Terry Fator‘Hello! I am Terry Fator, headliner at the Mirage Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, and winner of the “2007 America’s Got Talent” competition. I wanted to let everyone know just how important the WLAC was to not only my career but my entire life. Those involved had a profound impact on my ability to perform comfortably on stage and also relating to others in my daily life. The confidence I built in my life through my time spent at the Warehouse has carried me into career realms that I could have only dreamed of, and I am certain that without the WLAC I may never have achieved these goals. The money and time you spend on this wonderful organization very well may have an impact on someone’s life, and may, in turn affect millions of others, so please support this incredible organization. And tell all my friends in Corsicana I said “Hi!” ’ |

Julie Mitchell“The Warehouse Living Arts Center was my creative home for much of my childhood. My experience at the Warehouse taught me the importance of integrity, team work, social skills and responsibility…lessons I would use even if I did not pursue a career in acting. The creative arts are a safe haven for so many children and teens. We have all known them, those kids who excel when they immerse in an art form that helps them find their voices. Because my teachers at the Warehouse helped me to figure out who I am, I am dedicated to doing the same for the children that I teach in L.A. and in Corsicana during the summer theater camps.” Julie Mitchell is currently a working actor and theater teacher in Los Angeles. In 2009 she has appeared in seven commercials and co-starred in a film premiering this spring at the Sundance Film Festival. She also wrote and performed in an award-winning short film and appeared in many shows at the reputable Groundlings Theater as well as leading the 10th Annual Theatre Camp of the Warehouse. |

Baltimore Russell (Jay Pallanich)‘I first hopped on stage at the WLAC at the age of seven as Late Rabbit in the production of THE HOUSE AT POOH CORNER. I can’t give enough praise and thanks to the teachers and directors who shaped my formative years. They all helped give me the tools I needed to be the best actor I could. When I was invited to participate in the 25th Anniversary Show, I realized that I was part of something larger, that the Warehouse is truly Since 1995 I have performed and produced plays in Dallas, New York City and Australia.
